Heartland Building Products manufactures vinyl siding and related exterior home-improvement goods in its Booneville, Missouri facility. It offers vertical board and batten, traditional siding, cedar shakes, and scallops. Horizontal cladding styles include clapboard, beaded, and Dutch lap - each of which mimics historical architectural designs. Buyers may choose a smooth finish or from a variety of wood grain impressions including cedar, woodbark, and ultra-soft mill grain. A varied palette of colors is available including grays, beiges, blues, and whites.
Heartland Building Products has been manufacturing siding and related products at its Missouri plant since 1981. The company went into bankruptcy, was acquired, and reopened in 2009 by ProVia, a building products company specializing in entry doors and storm doors. ProVia Door was formed in 2008 when three companies - Precision Entry, Sugarcreek Industries, and Monarch IG - joined together under the brand name ProVia Door. The company is headquartered in Sugarcreek, Ohio where the original company was founded in 1977. Nearly 450 people are employed at four ProVia and Heartland facilities. The company remains under the ownership of the Mullet family.
Heartland offers a 50-year limited, non-prorated warranty to the original owner of the home on which the siding is installed. The warranty protects the homeowner against the product peeling, rotting, blistering, rusting, flaking, chipping, cracking, corroding, as well as from termite damage. It also warrants that the product will not fade unreasonably. The warranty may be transferred, on a pro-rated basis, to subsequent homeowners.
