I have owned metal siding for about 2 years and I think it was a very good investment. It protects much better than anything else, especially plastic that i've tried in the past and it keeps the "new" look much longer as well. My only dislike is the replacement process, it's a little more time consuming than some other options but the payoff makes it work it. I needed to repair a small section where some hedges started to grow under and pull the siding off. It wasn't a problem with the siding, but me overlooking the landscaping that caused the problem. I always recommend metal siding to those in the market.

Somewhat Satisfied
We have owned this siding for a little less than a year now. Things I like about the siding would have to be the lack of maintenance I would have to do in contrast to the older tile shingles we used to have. I usually just take my hose and spray, rather than having to actually climb and pick out the leaves and other debris. So far, the only thing I am not thrilled about is the actual look of it in comparison to other roof types, but for functionality sake, I don't mind it. I have not had to repair or replace any part of the roof. In regards to recommending it to a friend or buying the same brand again, it is still too early for me to decide whether or not this would be the best metal siding option.

Fabral Review: "Prone to Rust"

I have owned Fabral brand metal siding for about a year and a half now. I really like the color and shine that it puts on the side of my house, it is very attractive and I have received several compliments on how nice its looks. However, I have one major problem with this particular brand, it has accumulated quite a bit of rust over the short amount of time I have owned it. I have been trying diligently to remove said rust but to no avail and now it actually looks worse because pieces of the siding started to fall off when I tried to clean it. It is in great need of repair but I probably will just end up tearing it all down and replacing it with vinyl siding. I will never buy anything from Fabral again and will warn all of my friends and family to stay away from this cheap company.
