Installed Kaycan vinyl siding on our home 5 years ago. It was in the Clay color. It began to fade unevenly after just two years. Looks absolutely horrible now, blotchy and uneven fading, very poor quality.

Have Richmond siding in brick, installed 3 years ago, and it looks fantastic. Product has great shadow lines, nice finish, brings out the style of my house well. When we were choosing our siding, we went to the local branch and got shown around the show room, staff were very nice and informative. Gave us a contractor to work with and we were very pleased with the service and the final product. Love. It.

My d-5 Dutchlap siding in less than 2 years is chalking and developing lumps and bumps. This is my opinion is a terrible product. I am in the process of working with a regional rep. It is yet to be determined how they will respond.

After 7 years the DaVinci blue began to turn white along the length of the "boards" on Dutch-lap siding. Strange thing is the worst area is on the North-facing side on a covered porch, not sun exposed. Surface also is bubbling and peeling. I have been dealing with their customer service for 8 months now. First they denied it was their siding. It's on a modular home and was installed partially at the factory. I had to provide them documentation, a piece of the siding with bar code on back, and a photo of where I had removed it from the house. I had to provide photos of the faded and bubbled areas. They finally admitted it was their siding. Now I've been waiting for them to replace it. They have had all the information they need for two months. Very Poor follow through.

I am very disappointed with this product. In less that a year you could see it fading and looking spotty and chalky. It has been some work trying to resolve this matter, which is still ongoing. I know I am not the only person with this issue. I had siding on my house that matched and looked good before my fire. I just want matching, quality siding again.

No help from Kaycan. Siding showed blotch & fading after only 1yr. Very poor response from Kaycan. Warranty not worth much!! They want to repair it -- What ever that is?? Also want to put a deadline on our acceptance, 2yrs. & not a company that anyone would like to deal with!

I purchased Kaycan's DaVinci 4.5 Bevel in the color Evergreen about 3 years ago. After researching and reading the how to install guide we decided to install this product on our own house. We weren't sure about the different options available and wanted to contrast with different color trims on our house. We called the local branch and was invited to their showroom and was presented with the different options available. Very friendly staff greated us and Rose went out of her way to spend the time with us. Our siding looks as new as the day we installed it and would highly recommend the premium "DaVinci" line.

Kaycan Review: "Siding warps and customer service brutal"

We had Davinci Evergreen siding installed in October 2009 Pieces warped on three sides of our house, but it was worst on the west side. It was extremely difficult to get a response from the Regina branch and they never did give us a written response but agreed to replace it. In August of 2011 the three sides were replaced with the same siding. Some of the pieces on the west side started warping before the contractor was finished. This year we contacted the Regina branch and a 'branch manager' visited but we still have no response. If anyone else has had a problem with this type of siding and with Kaycan I would like to hear from you.
